A Night of Hope To Benefit Homeless and Abused Dogs and Cats In Our Community!

Aloha! Put on your best Luau attire and savor your love of the Islands by enjoying Island sights and sounds of the beautiful tropical setting of Bluewater Waterfront Grill, Wrightsville Beach.

It is an evening of authentic Island entertainment that features the fun and festive music from Island Time Band, North Carolina’s Best Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band! Enjoy heavy Island- style hors d’eouvres as you bid on many of the wonderful silent and live auction items- all to benefit the homeless and abused dogs and cats in our community! Bring your pet- related questions for Dr. Matthew Resnick of Porter’s Neck Veterinary Hospital at our “…Ask The Vet” booth.

Sheriff Ed McMahon of the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Unit, will be our special guest. Once again, this year’s proceeds will benefit three rescue groups—Paws Place Dog Rescue, All4Cats and Monty’s Home Dog Rescue. Tickets are only $40 in advance and $45 at the door.  Tickets can be purchased at

A touch of Hawaii will visit Wrightsville Beach, beginning at 6:30 PM on Thursday, June 1st, as we celebrate The Bow Wow Luau & The Cat’s Meow, a night of hope for homeless dogs and cats in our community!
