Directions to
Paw's Place
from Wilmington
Take Route 17 South across the
Cape Fear Memorial Bridge
Take the 2nd exit to Southport/Oak Island
follow Route 133 South
At end of the US-17 exit ramp turn left onto
Route 133 South, you will go under US-17
Go 8 miles, you will see the Gator Hole Convenience Store on your right. Cross over a small creek and the road takes a sharp turn to the right. In that turn, you will see a road to the right. Look for the "Paw's Place 6 Miles Sign" at Route 133 and Daws Creek Road. Go right on Daws Creek Road. If you miss that road, you will come to Old Forte Golf Course. Turn around and go back to Daws Creek Road.
Go 4 miles down Daws Creek Road to an intersection, turn left on Funston Road. There are railroad tracks just beyond where you will turn left.
Go 1 ½ miles to the end of the pavement. Turn right on Boiling Spring Road.
Go ½ mile and Paws Place is on the right. Look for the Paw's Place sign with the American Flag.
The Cattery is up front in the mobile home. A parking lot is in the back for the dog kennels.
Alternate Route (US-17 to Route 87):
From Boiling Spring Lakes: Take Route 87 to Boiling Spring Road, turn at the BSL city building, then follow the signs to Camp Pretty Pond, Paw's Place is one mile north of Camp Pretty Pond on the left.
