My name is Max and I am a big, very loving Bull-Dane who is looking for someone who wants me snuggled next to them and to be their very loyal fur child.  I am very smart, listen very well and just want someone by my side and to love me for who I am. I am 75 lbs. and full of muscle so I would love to have someone who is strong to walk me. Did I mention that I love walks and sun bathing in a fenced in yard?  I become very loyal and trusting quickly to the person who feeds me and takes care of me. With that being said, it is hard for me to trust people I don’t know who come where I stay. I would love a home that does not have a lot of visitors. I am very content with the same daily routine without many interruptions. I am in foster care now because I had to leave a home for being too protective of the children I lived with. I can’t help it; I just love the people that take care of me sometimes too much.  I am almost two years old, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines.  If you are interested in meeting Max, please contact Julia (

Bonnie is a 7 year old spayed female Basset Hound/Labrador Retriever blend. She was surrendered to a high kill shelter in June of 2017 before coming to RescueConnect. Bonnie is playful and outgoing and LOVES spending time with her human on walks or relaxing on the couch. She is fully vetted, heartworm negative, and has MANY more happy and healthy years to spend with a family.  Bonnie would prefer to be the only dog in her home, but enjoys seeing new dogs on walks. She gets along well with cats. A home with another low key dog that is larger than Bonnie may be considered.  Please contact us about adopting this wonderful girl and giving her the loving forever family she deserves. or 704 560 9517.  Visit us on Facebook @RescueConnect

Cinnamon is a sweet, go with the flow, kind of girl.  She’s 8 years old and weighs about 65 pounds.  Even though she’s a senior dog, she still has plenty of life.  She’s not high energy but loves to go on walks, for rides in the car, and is even great with my two year old nephew!  When left alone uncrated, she doesn’t get anxious, tear anything up in the house, or have accidents in the house.  She currently lives in a household with two smaller dogs and gets along with them just fine.  If you give this girl plenty of butt scratches, she’ll be your friend for life.  Cinnamon loves her people and can be a little protective of them initially if other dogs are around, but adjusts fairly quickly.  With that said, she goes to doggie daycare while we are out of town and does well with the other dogs there.  Overall, Cinnamon really is a gem and would be a great companion for anyone looking for a low key, easy going dog!  Please contact me if you are interested in adopting this sweet girl.
