  • Pet Of The Week

    Aria and her Pups
    Beagle/Corgi mix– female – recently had litter of puppies delivered at Paws Place Dog Rescue.
    Aria was rescued by Paws Place from Pender County who had taken her and seven other dogs from a hoarder. She delivered her puppies at Paws Place. One was stillborn, but the seven others are healthy pups--five male, two female.

    We recently added a new feature on our “Adopt a Pet” page called “Courtesy Listings.”  We frequently are contacted by very kind individuals who have rescued stray dogs, provided vet care for them, but are unable to adopt these animals due to work or family constraints. Courtesy listings are pets that are available for adoption through private individuals.  These dogs are not at Paws Place, and we cannot assume any responsibility for the breed, temperment or health of the animals.   We have agreed to list these animals on our website to assist these people who have rescued them in finding forever homes.  If you are interested in adopting any dogs listed here, please contact the individuals directly.
